MBA Conference Registration Scholarships

Register for a National MBA Conference — On Us!

Each fall, multiple MBA conferences with career events are held throughout the U.S. Hundreds of Fortune 500 corporations participate in these career events to meet and recruit MBA students for internships and full-time positions. Student Success and Career Advancement is excited to offer a limited number of scholarship opportunities for MBA students to attend a national MBA conference, with conference registration fully covered.

• National Black MBA Association Conference & Career Exposition
• Reaching Out (ROMBA)
• MBA Veterans Career Conference & Expo
• Prospanica National Conference & Career Expo
• AfroTech Conference

*Conferences are open to all MBA students, except MBA Veterans Career Conference, which is open to veterans only.

• Reimbursement of the conference registration fee.
• Virtual group prep session to maximize your conference experience, including polishing your resume, honing your networking skills, and learning how to navigate the conference floor.
• Virtual group debrief session to support your next steps and conference follow-up plan.

Who Should Attend
This scholarship is open to all current MBA students - Full-Time, Part-Time, and Online.

How to Receive a Scholarship

• Complete this scholarship registration.
• Check your email. Upon registering, you will receive an email with further instructions, along with information on how to receive reimbursement for the registration fee.
• Attend an upcoming conference prep session (September/October - more details will be provided)
• Attend the conference debrief session (late October - more details will be provided)

Things to Note

• Scholarships are available on a first-come, first-served basis: 70 slots available.
• You must be registered for the scholarship to receive reimbursement for the conference registration fee. 
• Scholarship funds will cover conference registration fees only, up to the maximum reimbursement amount listed below, including applicable taxes and credit card fees.
• Students are responsible for securing and paying for all travel and ancillary expenses (lodging, meals, transportation, etc.).

Reimbursement Maximums
Reimbursement will be provided up to the amount listed below for individual conferences:

• National Black MBA Association Conference & Career Exposition - Student Discount Code Price: $299*, Discount Code: B8CBACCL. Discount expires 9/22/25.
• Reaching Out (ROMBA) - Price: $300*. Price valid until 8/21/25.
• MBA Veterans Career Conference & Expo - Price: $249*
• Prospanica National Conference & Career Expo - Price: $200* (no meals price option). Price valid until 7/31/25.
• AfroTech Conference - Price: $299*

*3% credit card fees may be added to prices. Fees will be covered by the scholarship.
